Silver And Black Cancelled
Marvel Comics

As part of Sony's plans for the Spider-less Spiderverse, it was announced back in 2017 that Silver Sable and Black Cat were going to team-up for a big screen outing, titled Silver & Black and directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood.

Originally slated to hit cinemas in February 2019, it was pulled from Sony's release schedule in June, with Prince-Bythewood unhappy with the script, and eventually it was announced back in August that the film had been canned completely.

It's not all bad news though, as Sony are instead planning on solo films for both characters (as per Variety), with Black Cat set to arrive first, although it remains to be seen whether either of them will actually get a release, with Prince-Bythewood expected to depart and no one else yet brought in to write or direct.
