10 Biggest Movie And TV News This Week (Feb 22)

Only one movie on our minds this week...

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages. Welcome to another edition of the WhatCulture news brief! We've got quite the show for you tonight; as we learned some exciting (and surprising) comic-book movie casting news, got an update on the future of Dr. Horrible, and will have a special guest: Ron Burgundy! We also have a couple LEGO-related stories to share (can't get enough of those, right?) and another name to add to the roster of the Terminator reboot. However, none of this could top the excitement Marvel Studios dished out on Tuesday night, when they premiered their first glimpse at their weirdest film yet, which got "Hooked On A Feeling" stuck in the heads of fans and confused audiences everywhere. But enough with the pleasantries, onto the main event!

Honourable Mentions

House Of Cards 2LeBron James Cast In Space Jam 2 Considering that the first film made $230 million in 1996, it's actually kind of surprising that a sequel didn't happen sooner. But still, do we really need another one? Netflix Reports Impressive House of Cards Viewership Numbers If you haven't binge-watched House of Cards season 2 by now (who am I kidding, of course you have!), you're missing out. Apparently, 668,000 people finished the second season in one weekend. That means 668,000 people were at home watching TV instead of going out on Valentine's Day. Billy Bob Thornton, Haley Joel Osment and Kid Cudi Join The Entourage Movie Wait, this movie is still happening? Didn't this show get cancelled a hundred years ago? The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Gets January 16, 2015 Release Date Guy Ritchie will help make 2015 the biggest, most in-your-face year in movie history. Because that's how Hollywood works now. Good thing it's coming out in January though, because nothing good will be out then. Showtime Renews Shameless and House of Lies While other networks are cancelling their comedies left and right, Showtime is showing confidence by keeping their shows around. Good. The more Emmy Rossum the better. The American Remake Of The Raid Lands Expendables 3 Director Yep, we're remaking The Raid. Sorry.
