9. NBC Resurrecting Heroes In 2015

We live in an age where our favorite but cancelled television shows don't have to remain that way for long. Veronica Mars is returning in a feature film, 24 is getting an event miniseries on FOX, Arrested Development and The Killing have found a new home on Netflix, and Ripper Street was just revived thanks to Amazon. Now, it seems that NBC wants to join the resurrection business, and is bringing back what was once their most exciting show, Heroes. The series unfortunately never lived up to the greatness of its first season and was cancelled after season 4, but in 2015 NBC will release Heroes Reborn, a standalone 13-episode event miniseries focusing on a new group of characters. They announced the news during the Olympics last weekend, through this short and detail-free teaser trailer: We here on the site have already begun writing about things we'd like to see when the show returns, so be sure to read some of those articles here!
