10 Changes The DCEU Will Make After Justice League

9. More Female Superhero Films

Given the amount of divisive films the DC Extended Universe has delivered so far, Warner Bros needs to stick with what has worked in its superhero films, and Wonder Woman sits at the top of a very short list here.

The Amazon warrior's solo debut is the only thing the franchise has to an unequivocal hit so far and she didn't disappoint in the team-up movie either. With this in mind, more movies like Wonder Woman and fewer films like the dour Batman v Superman will be announced going forward.

That could mean Warner will make better use of the classic female DC characters it has at its disposal. The studio already has Batgirl and Gotham City Sirens movies lined up, but there are other heroines it should fast-track to cinema.

Supergirl is an obvious one. A movie about Kara Zor-El would likely be tonally similar to Wonder Woman, underpinned by hope and optimism, plus it would be a chance to flesh out the DCEU's Kryptonian lore.

Meanwhile, a Zatana solo film would broaden the franchise by adding magic to it, and as the Batman universe grows, Catwoman, Huntress and Black Canary spinoffs will become an option.

By throwing its weight behind some of these characters, DC has the opportunity to build on Wonder Woman's success and position itself as the studio that does female superhero films best.
