10 Characters Who Shouldn't Return For X-Men: Days Of Future Past

10. Ray Park (Toad) - X-Men (2000)

toad A real slime ball, the ballsy cockney who made a filthy habit of spitting mucus at Jean Grey made brief appearances in the original 'X-Men' film; he shouldn't return simply for being on the list of awful British film accents. The only redeeming feature? A 13 foot tongue that could come in handy around Christmas time for sealing letters. Apart from this, the member of Magneto's Brotherhood of Mutants is pretty lame. His death came accompanied by one of the most ridiculous lines in the franchise's history: "Do you know what happens to a toad when it is struck by lightening?..."The same thing that happens to everything else." It is only a shame that someone hasn't squashed the frog earlier on and saved us from two hours of green acrobatics. t2 Since 2000 the comic versions of Toad have been drawn to look far more like Park's version. Looking at the version below from 'X-Men Evolution' it is hardly surprising that Toad isn't the most well loved character. A geeky boy with a penchant for flies is not someone you would really want to relate to.
