10 Comic Con Announcements The Fanboys Would Love

10. Marvel Announces Entire Phase 3 Slate

As it stands right now, there are a whole 7 slots in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's upcoming slate that remain unaccounted for. Between July 2016 and May 2019, 7 movies have been dated, though not even a single title has been announced yet, causing fans to speculate on what the films might be, and when Marvel might start revealing what they are. We're assuming that said films are all a part of Marvel's Phase 3, though it's entirely possible that they may spill over into Phase 4 as well. Either way, some of the more likely guesses include Doctor Strange, Black Panther and Black Widow solo movies, as well as sure-thing sequels such as Captain America 3, Thor 3, and (probably) Guardians of the Galaxy 2. With Guardians racking up rave reviews so far, Comic-Con would be an extremely opportune time to let fans know about the plan moving forward, and what we can expect to see in the coming years. Still, it's far more likely that Marvel will instead drip-feed these announcements out over the next few years rather than unveil them all at once.
