10 Crazy Ways Living In A Movie Would Ruin Your Life

9. People Think More Logically Than In Real Life (And You Won't Get Used To It)

Music and Lyrics Like the above, this initially sounds like a plus, that people in movies tend to have a more simplistic train of logical thought; there is an A-to-B rather than the A-to-H-to-X-to-D that tends to define actual human cognition. Whether it's trying to stop a bad guy or just get the girl, films generally don't factor in the complexities (that is, idiocy) of being an actual human being - movie characters tend to think in moral absolutes that can be easily quantified and combated. In reality, on the other hand, people are fickle; they can be douchebags for no reason and be pretty oblique about why they do things. Again, though, we're so used to seeing human beings operate this way that to suddenly leap into a movie world and have to deal with straight-forward human interaction would just blow our minds. You'd feel like you were being pranked, and more to the point, you'd probably never quite believe that they were really human in the first place.
