There is a short but important moment in Batman v. Superman, which sees Bruce waking up in the lake house before storming off to do business. As he wakes up, a sleeping woman lies next to him in bed, whose presence he doesn't even acknowledge.

While the quiet lakeside view through the window might be what initially draws the eye in this scene, according to Snyder, the picture hanging above the bed is what is far more important. It is a Robert Mapplethorpe picture, which is representative of drug use.

Here's an easy one: The Mapplethorpe above his bed I chose to represent the erotic as a drug that Bruce uses sex to momentarily forget his pain"

Snyder put the picture here on Bruce's wall, visible in only this scene, for the purposes of representing Bruce's use of sex and the erotic as a drug to ease his suffering. Considering that this woman is never seen or heard from again, this certainly fits, as Bruce seemingly used her as nothing more than means to an end.
