10 Disappointing Films That Deserve A Second Chance

9. Knock Knock

Knock Knock is director Eli Roths first movie with an A list star, but despite the presence of Keanu Reeves, Lionsgate still sent the movie to VOD. Its not hard to see why: Keanus out of his element playing a victimized family man and by confining itself to a single locale, the film is ultimately somewhat underwhelming.

Its a remake of Death Game, a 1977 home invasion thriller that starred Sondra Locke and Colleen Camp. Compared to that dull time-waster, though, Knock Knock looks fantastic, so if youre going to watch the film then check out Death Game first.

Youll be pleasantly surprised by how much better the direction, the writing and even the acting are in Roths movie, and itll help you forgive Keanu for getting in over his head. Cast in a role that requires him to emote, his performance reminds you that he usually talks tough and takes out bad guys.
