10. Clooney Does Madonna - The Harvest
Sometimes you have to look back at past movies and wonder why or how anyone ever thought their stars could go on to enjoy stellar screen success, and near-annual accolades for how nice their face or backside is. That much is true of The Harvest, one of George Clooney's first appearances on the silver screen, which came before ER, and somehow failed to catipult him immediately to mega-stardom. In it, Clooney played the wonderfully named Lip Synching Transvestite - a gender-bending cameo so sparsely-planned that the future Batman didn't even pause to shave his belly. In one of the most haunting shots of his entire career, Mrs Clooney approaches the camera, lip-synching provocatively (and awfully) to Madonna, and trying her level best to appear feminine, despite the gigantic, manly frame that would make Clooney an unexpected but undoubtedly excellent initial choice to play Batman...
It's mesmorising, but in an awful, awful way, and it adds a whole new aspect to Batman's fondness for rubber and latex.
