10 Famous Actors Who Are Notoriously Difficult To Work With

7. Russell Crowe

Russell Crowe's reputation as a man imbued with traits both volatile and aggressive is kind of what makes him Russell Crowe, but here's a talented actor who I wouldn't want to meet on prom night. Not because I'm going to prom with him or anything - I mean, if he was, like, the father of the girl I was taking to prom, and I had to meet him for the first time when I swung by to pick her up... that would be terrifying (maybe they should do a sketch on SNL about that or something).

Anyway, Crowe doesn't take any , and he wants you know that. He's fallen out with folk on both the sets of his movies and in real life, and is renowned for his drunken fisticuffs, of which I'm sure he couldn't live without. Crowe comes across as quiet and moody, as if he's been burdened with this life as a rich, famous, critically-acclaimed actor.

He also once said of his own star quality: "I have that attitude." I'm not sure what that means, exactly, but "attitude" is definitely the right word - he's scared a few directors away with his hard-bitten demeanour over the years. As for me, I'll be going to the prom on my own.
