It's something of an embarrassment that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has released almost 20 movies and not a single one of them has been led by a woman, and the first won't come until 2019 with Captain Marvel.
But what about Black Widow? You can argue that she's not super enough and that not every Avenger needs their own solo movie, but when pondering the prospect of giving Scarlett Johansson her own spy movie, which is easily the most natural route for a Black Widow film, it's hard not to see box office success.
The DCEU got it done after four movies with Wonder Woman. Why so hesitant, Marvel Studios?
How Likely Is It?: This will surely have to happen eventually, though it'll probably depend on how well Captain Marvel does at the box office, and whether Black Widow actually survives the whole Infinity War saga (as one of the few MCU heroines, she probably will).
It seems like such an easy, sure bet that it'd be pretty surprising and disappointing if it wasn't part of Phase Four's lineup, especially as Marvel already has 20 movies planned after The Avengers 4. 7/10
