10 Funny Or Die Movies We Wish Were Real

Don-Cheadle - Captain Planet Aren€™t movies great? The perfect escapism from the monotonous tedium that is your daily life, by watching insanely hot people in heart stopping and soul warming moments, forever captured on celluloid for your repeated viewing pleasure. A good movie is enough to make you forget your terrible credit history, your worryingly increasing unexplained back spasms and your sudden love of pointless display cushions. The good folks over at Funny or Die know this. Which is why they create some of the best and most hilarious video content available today. And my personal favourite section of their site is their trailers for films that don€™t exist. Perfect little 3 minute trailers that not only make you laugh, but make you wish upon a movie star that they could be real movies. Well here€™s 10 of them, and how they could go down in the real world.

10. Fifty Shades Of Blue

Selena Gomez plays the naïve innocent girl extremely well, as evidenced by her recent turn in the movie where former Disney girls go to get laid, Spring Breakers. She plays the one who isn€™t having any of this sex, drugs or rock n roll stuff and packs her bags home. So this trailer about a young woman falling inexplicably for her slob of a handyman played by Nick Kroll has potential. Imagine, this disgusting borderline tramp of a man whose earthy charms completely captivate the young ingénue. She finds him dangerous, risky and so complex. He just finds her annoying. With a script that is basically crying out for gags based on the word caulk (try saying it in an American accent for our overseas readers), it could do big box office. Throw in Jake Johnson as the handyman€™s best friend and Sarah Silverman as the wacky embarrassing gal-pal of Selena, and this movie practically writes itself.
