10 Good Actors Trapped Making Terrible Movies

Just...why?

Is there anything sadder in Hollywood than seeing wonderful talent be thoroughly wasted? Either because they've got terrible agents, are shamelessly chasing a paycheck, have suffered through some back luck or a combination of all of the above, these talented, even Oscar-winning actors are stuck in a depressing loop of making terrible movies.

In an age where even the classiest of actors are embracing the straight-to-VOD boom and showing up in low-rent thrillers for an easy payday, it shouldn't be terribly surprising that plenty of skilled and popular performers are letting their Rotten Tomatoes profiles - and perhaps even their dignity - take a huge hit.

Fans of these actors are basically just crossing their fingers right now that they might be able to break the dispiriting streak and get back to something resembling solid critical ground. That next hit is potentially always around the corner, but so too is yet another addition to the long line of flops.

Prepare to wince as you find out just how long it's been since these actors put out legitimately good movies...
