The mutant, who is also known as En Sabah Nur, has finally been shown on screen in the post-credits scene of this year's X-Men: Days of Future Past, where he was seen using his vast telekinetic powers to build the pyramids in ancient Egypt. The blue-skinned monstrosity is set to be the X-Men's most powerful movie villain to date, with telepathy, teleportation, molecular manipulation, energy manipulation and technopathy potentially being part of a power arsenal that also includes the aforementioned telekinesis. As a result, he's going to be one hell of a hard act to follow but, despite the suggestive name of the movie's titular character, the world isn't actually going to end and there are set to be more X-Men movies after X-Men: Apocalypse is released (with another solo Wolverine movie penned in for the year after it).
