Blade Runner, the inimitable future noir from Ridley Scott and Harrison Ford among a whole other host of talents, has had more than its fair share of re-edits and directors cuts over the years, due to disputes with the studio and Scotts own rampant perfectionism, (He comments on the Alien Directors Cut introduction that he thinks this version of the movie is pretty good. So modest.) and here they all are, collected in one sleek steel briefcase. A variation on a classic box set theme (007 has a couple himself), the set includes every version of the film ever put out, including Scotts Final Cut and an earlier edit thats not been seen before, as well as various booklets and bits of cool Blade Runner paraphernalia. One of the more affordable sets by virtue of having been on the market a few years and being relatively modest in comparison to some of the other entries on the list, this briefcase is essential for sci-fi completists.
