Taxi Driver Poster In much the same way, Chris Anderson's brilliantly minimalist tribute to Martin Scorsese's urban masterpiece Taxi Driver retains the most iconic thing about the whole movie - Travis Bickle's black shades and mohawk hair cut - while not actively courting any other imagery from the movie, because it doesn't need to. The only additional flourish - and a clever one at that - is the decision to colour the poster yellow, with the black pattern of Travis' face instantly making us think of the logo on the side of a cab (because, of course, that's Travis' job).
