10 Hilarious Actresses Who Don’t Get The Credit They Deserve

1. Rachel Dratch

rachel dratchDratch had a great run on Saturday Night Live: she was Debbie Downer, she was Will Ferrell's "Lovers" wife, and Boston teenager Denise. Between SNL and her time at Second City improv, you'd think she'd be on the fast track to her own feature films. On the contrary: she seems to be relegated to other television appearances and supporting roles so distant she sometimes isn't visible on a film's landing page on IMDB. (Remember that time she was in Click? Neither does IMDB.) To Dratch's immense, credit, she's had the longest run on SNL out of any woman ever to be a member of the show's cast. Also, as a much smaller accomplishment, she's the second-shortest person to ever appear on SNL. Despite this, she's had only one award nomination (a Teen Choice award from Nickelodeon, at that) and no wins. How can someone so funny go so unrecognized and get such crappy movie roles? I'm beginning to suspect that Tina Fey must have performed some foul magic to keep Dratch on the sidelines in supporting roles in Adam Sandler movies while she gets to write bestselling memoirs and write 30 Rock. Maybe Fey hexed her while they were on SNL together.
