10 Hilariously Obvious Stunt Doubles Who Ruined Their Scenes

3. Buffy: The Vampire Slayer

If proof were ever needed that Sarah Michelle Gellar was perfectly cut out for the lead role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, it can be found in her subsequent, spectacular failure to do anything else of note since the show ended.

She was wonderfully suited to the role, combining sass and sexiness with a killer edge that made mince-meat out of vampires and demons in her Hellmouth home town... except, she didn't. As a number of scandalous images on the net prove, Gellar didn't so much as lift a finger in the real combat scenes, relying on a stunt double who looked nothing like her to kick demon tail.

Not only does she look nothing like Sarah Michelle Gellar (hardly surprising considering the actress' unsuitable build and training for actual combat, perhaps) and more like Modern Family star Julie Bowen, but the stunt "double" chosen is clearly at least 15 years older than the star. At least. Her on-screen supernatural boyfriend also had a particularly bad stunt double, who looked precious little like star David Boreanaz...

He's the one on the right, by the way.
