9. Godzilla Vs Kong

Featuring an earth-shattering battle between Godzilla and Kong, 2020's aptly-titled Godzilla vs Kong will bring the two mythical beasts together in the showdown to end all showdowns.
Directed by Adam Wingard (You're Next, Blair Witch), the movie will be the fourth entry in Warner Bros' MonsterVerse, after 2014's Godzilla, Kong: Skull Island, and the upcoming Godzilla: King Of The Monsters.
In 2017, a writers room was established in order to round out the story, with the team focused on delivering fleshed-out characters alongside monsters that feel truly threatening and scary.
Additionally, Wingard has mentioned that his film will include a definitive winner, telling EW that:
"I do want there to be a winner. The original film was very fun, but you feel a little let down that the movie doesn’t take a definitive stance. People are still debating now who won in that original movie, you know. So, I do want people to walk away from this film feeling like, okay, there is a winner.”
That's good to hear, considering that "versus" movies - Batman V Superman, Alien Vs Predator - usually end in a cop-out draw.
