10 Irresistible Quentin Tarantino Spin-Offs That Definitely Deserve To Be Made

7. Seth Gecko

€œThe world's my oyster, except for the fact that I just rammed a wooden stake in my brother's heart because he turned into a vampire, even though I don't believe in vampires. Aside from that unfortunate business, everything's hunky-dory.€

Who? Seth Gecko, played by George Clooney in the Tarantino-written, Robert Rodriguez-directed cult film From Dusk Till Dawn. Seth is a professional thief who, along with his brother Richie (played by Tarantino himself) are on the run from the FBI and trying to cross the border into Mexico where they€™ve managed to arrange for safe passage in exchange for a cut of their money. In order to aid in their escape, they take a family hostage and stow away in their RV. Once they cross the border, they stop at a bar called the Titty Twister, open from dusk till dawn, where they€™re going to meet their contact. Once they get inside though, they discover the strippers and the staff are all vampires. Seth survives the events of the film, making his way to El Rey, but Richie doesn€™t (as the quote indicates). There actually was sort of a sequel to this movie, albeit as a video game in 2001. It follows the events of the film, with Seth being condemned to death for the Titty Twister murders and imprisoned in Rising Sun, a high-security prison housed in a converted tanker off the coast of New Orleans. And vampires infiltrate the prison, posing as inmates and go on a rampage. That€™s a potential set-up, but I€™m sure Tarantino could come up with something better. Likelihood? As much fun as it would be to see Clooney don the tattoo and .44 once again as Seth Gecko, between his current clout in Hollywood and Tarantino€™s interest in making films he hasn€™t before, getting them both to revisit a B-film they made in the mid-90s would be the real challenge.
