10 Least Convincing Movie Badasses

10. Chris O'Donnell - Robin (Batman Forever)

Batman Forever Robin
Warner Bros.

Robin was introduced in the comic books to give young boys an avatar they could project themselves into. Over the years the first Robin, Dick Grayson, would become a nicely developed character in his own right, with his own internal struggles and goals. There was a lot of excitement when it was announced the character would be introduced in Batman Forever, even if the teenage character would be played by 25-year-old Chris O€™'Donnell.

From his introduction on it was clear this was a bad decision. He'€™s too old for the role, his attempts at tough talking come across as whiny and entitled and the earring they gave him to make him seem hip was embarrassing, even back in 1995. He'€™s not much better when it comes to the action as he constantly needs to be rescued by Batman - hardly a character most kids would want to emulate.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
