10 Marvel Franchises That Could Replace The Avengers

Marvel's Suicide Squad equivalent might struggle to match DC's villainous ensemble when it comes to the comics, but when it comes to the films, it's not like they have much to be worried about.

Suicide Squad famously squandered its premise with a ugly neon hue and an even uglier script, but that shouldn't mean its Dirty Dozen-style story should go unused elsewhere. In Marvel's case it's something they should look to capitalise on, with the Thunderbolts being the most obvious analogue to Task Force X.

Having undergone various incarnations in the comics, Marvel would have their work cut out for them in choosing who joins. If Venom debuts to a solid reception, however, they could look to include Eddie Brock as a starting member, making him join the likes of Vulture (who was surely too good to be used for just one film), and the other villains of the MCU.
