10 Marvel Universe Villains Who Should Unite To Form The Masters Of Evil

The Marvel Cinematic Universe's "Phase 1" culminated with the assembling of the superhero team the Avengers. Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Captain America, Black Widow and Hawkeye came together to fend off the extra-terrestrial threat posed to the Earth by the Chitauri army led by Loki. The sequel to that first Avengers movie will bring "Phase 2" to a close next year, as the same heroes - who will also be joined by the likes of Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch and James "Rhodey" Rhodes - turn their attention to the evil robot Ultron as it attempts to take over the world. In general, the only threats the heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have had to face up to now are either individual villains, pairs of villains or organisations full of nameless flunkies - so wouldn't it be cool to see a team of named villainous counterparts facing off against the likes of the Avengers? The Masters of Evil are arguably the most well-known villain team in Marvel comics and seeing a Marvel Cinematic Universe version brought to life using both existing villains from the franchise and new villains would be very cool (however unlikely the prospect may be).
