5. Chris O'Donnell Turning Down Two Awesome Films

While some might say that the guy is still a success, he could have been something far greater if he'd actually taken some prosperous roles when they came along. Inexplicably, despite it being down to Leonardo DiCaprio and O'Donnell for the role of Jack in Titanic - and Fox preferring O'Donnell - he didn't take the role for unspecified reasons, and similarly turned down the Will Smith role in Men In Black. What did he star in instead? The critically reviled Batman and Robin, and his career was stuck in a funk for almost a decade, until he came back with a memorable turn in Kinsey.
