It's a well-know fact that there is nothing in this world more terrifying than clowns, and Stephen King played on our worst fear with maximum impact in his hit novel IT.
The second adaptation of the book arrives later this year and Hemlock Grove's Bill Skarsgard has big shoes to fill in more ways than one as Pennywise the clown.
Skarsgard tackles the role made famous by Tim Curry in the 1990 TV miniseries, which tells the story of a nightmarish creature which returns to haunt a group of adults, who have no memory of battling the same threat during their childhoods.
Like the TV version, the movie adaptation of IT was originally envisioned as a two-parter, but it's unclear whether the second chapter is still going ahead.
