10 Most Cringe-Worthy Star Wars Moments

7. Older Anakin's Rants - Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones

Episode-II-Attack-of-the-Clones-Anakin-Padm-screencap-the-skywalker-family-12213683-700-394 After being with Amidala for about a day Anakin decides it's acceptable to show his true dark nature and he has two major fits. In the first, he starts complaining about Obi-Wan saying: "It's not fair!" and "He doesn't understand!" Basically he just goes off on a ego-driven rant for no reason. Now, he loves this woman, but he hasn't seen her in ten years nor does he really know her. That doesn't stop him from acting like a total nut. Here is some dialogue exchange from that rant, Padmé Amidala: "You're not all-powerful, Ani." Anakin Skywalker: "Well, I should be." Anakin: "Someday I will be the most powerful Jedi ever." We get another, more disturbing rant later: Anakin: "I killed them. I killed them all. They're dead, every single one of them. And not just the men, but the women and the children, too. They're like animals, and I slaughtered them like animals. I HATE THEM!" These are capstones in the stacks of bad dialogue and weird acting choices throughout this film. It is painful!
