9. Watchmen
While Avatar used crazy hair follicles to show sex, Watchmen gave us full-on blue French horn. Given superpowers because science, Dr Manhattan can literally do anything, including have it completely socially acceptable to show his blue glory to the world. Throughout the film, we see Billy Crudup's mo-cap God letting it hang out, not caring for the social convention of clothes. Its a great and rather in your face representation of the characters distance from humanity. Even with the increased pants wearing than the graphic novel, there are ample moments to marvel at what a superheros wang looks like. However in the flashback to Vietnam, where Manhattan massacres the Viet Cong (and in this world swinging the war in Americas favour), he chooses to wear pants, saving them a feeling of inadequacy. Maybe blowing them up was enough of a punishment.
