9. Harry & Marv (Home Alone)
Harry Lyme (Joe Pesci) and Marv Merchants (Daniel Stern) were the totally inept burglars who were twice repelled by pre-adolescent rascal Kevin McCallister. Walking in to every single trap he set for them, they made complete idiots of themselves as the youngster repeatedly outwitted them in hilarious circumstances. Aside from leaving the taps running in every house they raided (allowing the police to know every single crime they had committed prior to being caught), their collective idiocy included walking face first in to swinging paint cans, tripping up on Micro Machines, grabbing a glowing hot door handle and staring at an iron as it descended dangerously towards their heads. It all made for a funny spectacle, but my word were they dumb.
