10 Movie Details You Totally Missed The First Time

10. Spoiler! "Don't Trust Gary" - Game Night

Last year's smash hit comedy Game Night pulls a cheeky fast one over viewers in its opening moments, by hiding the key to its plot twist in plain sight.

Game Night gives the big reveal away in the first two minutes, as when Max (Jason Bateman) and Annie (Rachel McAdams) are seen making out on the subway, the train's destination readout displays the message, "Don't trust Gary."

This is of course a reference to the film's main "gotcha!", that the majority of the movie's events were in fact an ingenious game orchestrated by Max and Annie's eccentric, lonely neighbour Gary (Jesse Plemons), in an attempt to no longer be excluded from their game nights.

As a fun little treat, the movie's fantastic end credits sequence even details the particulars of Gary's plan. But if you have superhuman powers of observation, you might've been tipped off right away.
