10 Movie Heroes Who Need To Be President

9. Don Diego De La Vega - The Mask Of Zorro

de la vega

"I guess I need to let you know what you lack: charm, sophistication, and the knowledge that I have already won." Antonio Banderas may have played the lead in Zorro, but it was Anthony Hopkins who was the star as Don Diego de la Vega. Unlike others, de la Vega was a man of culture, a man of class. He could pluck the heart-string of any woman he chose, and would charm that woman€™s husband at the same time. This style would suit a president as he set an agenda with a grace and ease that all would respect and admire, before they realized that he was actually discussing bankrupting the upper class. Even though de la Vega could charm, he had a set of principles and ethics that directly conflicted with his personal wealth, and he was perfectly at ease with it. He risked his life, his wealth and his stature for the people, something that would affect everyone today. If President de la Vega would take office on January 20th, he would immediately close down lobbyists, arrest several billionaires and redistribute their wealth, open the doors of the white house to the poor, and do it all without ever having a hair fall out of place.
