8. Howard the Duck - Lea Thompson Almost Has Sex With A Duck
The calamitous George Lucas-produced farce - based on a Marvel comic book, would you believe it? - was originally intended to be animated, but due to a contractual obligation, it was forced into the ever-rickety live-action puppet genre. The film climbs into a pit of despair from which it never emerges when Lea Thompson's - yes, Lorraine McFly from Back to the Future - character ends up propositioning the titular animal in the most sickeningly uncomfortable inter-species sex scene in movie history. Thompson has a good attempt at seducing Howard, though he manages to restrain himself and stop her from disrobing anywhere beyond her underwear. It's as though the filmmakers somehow tapped into the fact that
audiences would find this really, really wrong, and decided to stop it before it escalated any further. Lorraine gives Howard a peck and, thankfully, that's the last we ever see of it. But the silhouettes and the career-crushing nature of it all is enough to make anyone experience acid reflux.
