10 Movie Moments That Pissed Fanboys Off The Most In 2015

They're mad as hell!

On one hand, 2015 was an awesome time to be a fanboy of, well, pretty much anything movie-related, because it saw more franchises being resurrected than ever, more sequels landing in our laps than we could possibly count, and Hollywood actually taking a few welcome gambles on tough-to-adapt properties. That said, not everything went swimmingly, and even if a movie delivered on the whole, the nitpicky nature of fanboyism means that the nerds are never happy, and there's almost always something to complain about that a writer, director or actor just didn't get right. Before the list gets underway, consider some of the infractions that didn't quite make the cut: the treatment of Q*Bert in Pixels, the use of songs from Nirvana and The Ramones in Pan, Tarantino narrating The Hateful Eight himself, the lack of Matthew McConaughey in Magic Mike XXL, and of course, the fact that Hitman: Agent 47 was pretty much the exact opposite of everything the video games are about. Yes, these screw-ups left the fanboys mad as hell, but didn't come close to the foam-mouthed rage which these ten movie moments incited in each franchise's most devoted and loyal fans.
