10 Movie Props That Appeared In More Than One Film

5. Psychokinetic Energy Meter

Pke DoneWhere You've Seen It: Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters II, They Live & Suburban Commando The news that a new Ghostbusters film is in the works has fans of the original films excited at the prospect of getting reacquainted with the gang. Hopefully all their old iconic equipment, uniforms and vehicle return with them. One of the most recognizable of those items is the PKE meter. Designed by Dr. Egon Spengler, the device detects psychokinetic energy and directs its user to the location of the source. The PKE meter has also been seen in a couple of non-Ghostbusters films as well, most notably They Live, starring professional wrestler Roddy Piper. A movie famous for it's memorable fight scene and the quote "I came here to kick a** and chew bubblegum...and I'm all out of bubblegum", the PKE meter appears as a piece of police equipment. This usage was easier to catch than some of the other props on our list due to the uniqueness of its design and the prominence with which it's been featured.
