10 Movie Sequels We Secretly Want To See

10. Austin Powers 4

After creating three truly great characters, whether in total or in part - Wayne, Austin Powers and Shrek - Mike Myers' career trajectory started to drop off pretty dramatically when he made anything not Shrek related. The Cat In The Hat and The Love Guru are legitimately two of the worst movies of the century.

Since then, he's appeared only sporadically in movies, with interesting supporting roles in Inglourious Basterds and Bohemian Rhapsody, but he still shows flashes of the same charm and character work. And it's about time he pulled the trigger on the fourth Austin Powers movie, which has been widely rumoured for years.

Director Jay Roach has been talking about it and confirmed Myers is trying to crack a story - which is more difficult after Verne Troyer's death - so there's a chance, but you'd think there's got to be something in a parody of more modern Bond conventions, surely?
