While the majority of the movies on this list failed because they couldn't even deliver the basic blockbuster goods, this promising biopic of Tupac Shakur's life fell into pretty much every pitfall of the bland biopic formula.

Though Demetrius Shipp Jr. gives a remarkably authentic performance as Tupac, he's the only thing in this movie that works, with flat direction, an uninspired script and a brutal 140-minute runtime draining most of the intrigue out of Pac's life story.

How a movie about one of the most iconic rappers of all time can feel so unimportant is truly staggering. It's clear the film wanted to be this year's Straight Outta Compton, but without any directorial flair to speak of, a talented lead actor is left helpless and stranded.
