10 Movies That Couldn't Get Time Travel Right

9. The Time Traveller's Wife

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XeII6bshcGE This one isn't so much a plot hole as it is just a whole shedload of weird. The story revolves around Henry (Eric Bana), a man who has no control over the fact that he travels through time, going back and forth while forming a relationship with Claire (Rachel McAdams) along the timeline. Things get really weird once Claire tells Henry that he once visited her when she was a child, and that this was when she became infatuated with him. It gets weirder. This scene actually plays out later in the film, with Henry being sent back to when Claire was a little girl, though of course, in his mind, the two have already shared so much, and so he inadvertantly plants the seeds of romance in her mind as a child. To make it even worse, time travel ditches your clothes, so Bana shows up naked and has to ask the young Claire to give him a blanket that just so conveniently happens to be lying around. So creepy.
