10 Movies That Started Shooting Without A Completed Script

10. Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice

Though Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice - the movie that Warner Bros. is counting on to launch its DC Cinematic Universe - has had a finished script for some time now that it has completed filming, Jeremy Irons (who is playing Bruce Wayne's loyal butler Alfred in the film) revealed in March 2014 that the script wasn't finished at that point. Just three months earlier, regular Batman screenwriter David S. Goyer - who co-wrote Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy as well as Man Of Steel - bowed out of writing the script in favour of Argo screenwriter Chris Terrio. The shuffling of writers is likely one of the main reasons why the film was pushed back from its original release date of July 17, 2015 to March 25, 2016. The superhero versus superhero movie actually started filming in October 2013, before Terrio was even on board. By the time the main cast started shooting in May 2014, the ink was still drying, despite sets, costumes, and props having already been created. We€™ll find out next year how successful Warner Bros. gamble was.
