10 Movies You Didn't Know Had Secret Post-Credits Sequences

More fool you for leaving the theatre early.

The instant a movie has finished, something clicks in the minds of collective audience organisms everywhere - something that demands they get out of the theatre as quickly as possible. Like, hurry up, the credits are starting, there's no way I can sit here and watch these!

As if obliged by some unwritten rule of movie-going oneupmanship, there's a moment of hurried preparation and whispering as soon as a movie cuts to the credits: what follows is, simply put, two hundred people frantically trying to get out of a small door, because who - in this day and age - cares about the production team?

But fight the temptation to make a quick escape and you just might be rewarded for your patience... We're talking about post-credit sequences, of course, those semi-secret quickies tagged on the end of movies to either build hype or give people reason to sit through five or six minutes of scrolling text. But these things are a relatively new invention, and a treat bestowed upon only the most dedicated of movie-goers.

And due to Marvel's clever marketing of post-credit sequences - ones which actually tease future events and upcoming movies - audiences have never been more aware of waiting out the end credits for a special treat. But whereas the Marvel post-credit sequences are relatively well-known amongst film fans, there are some movies out there with secret post-credits sequences that might surprise you entirely. Here's 10 you likely had no idea existed...

Note: Spoilers for the movies mentioned contained within.
