9. Hitchcock
You can call me Hitch, hold the cock one of the great directors many funny quips, which made him such a witty character. With Toby Jones (Snow White and The Huntsman) having already given his best Hitchcock interpretation in HBOs The Girl, its time for Anthony Hopkins (The Silence of the Lambs) to step into the shoes (and prosthetics) to portray the iconic horror director. Where as The Girl focused on the directors life after his biggest hit Psycho, Hitchcock is a prequel of sorts and centers on the making of Psycho and the intricate relationship between the director and his wife Alma, played by Helen Mirren (Prime Suspect). Scarlett Johansson (Avengers Assemble) stars as the actress Janet Leigh whom featured in the iconic shower scene. Also watch out for a superb appearance from James DArcy (Cloud Atlas) who delivers a fantastic performance as the shy and quirky Anthony Perkins.
