10 Obscure Superheroes That Badly Need A Movie Treatment

We are living in an age where superheroes are becoming the prominent intellectual properties Hollywood has decided to milk for their summer blockbusters. Naturally, they've gone after the most notable and recognizable first because those are going to have the widest reaching appeal. But, if the mine must continue to be dug, there's going to come a point where audiences will get tired of seeing another reboot of Spider-Man or some different take on Superman. It's at that moment when (if the movie-makers are smart) we'll hopefully start seeing more obscure and off-the-wall characters on the silver screen. Marvel will be leading the way in that arena with their movies Guardians of the Galaxy and Ant-Man, but there are plenty more B-list and C-list costumed crimefighters who have interesting abilities, intriguing backstories or just a natural cinematic flourish to themselves. And so, we present to you a list of ten masked vigilantes that have been languishing in (varying degrees of) obscurity, waiting for their shot at the multiplex.
