10 Places Every Star Wars Fan Should Visit On Holiday

4. Anaheim, CA or Orlando, Florida €“ Disneyland/Disney World, Star Tours: The Adventure Continues

Star Tours If you are at either Disneyland or Disney World once in your life, be sure to experience Star Tours. It debuted in 1987 at Disneyland and was the first major motion simulator (read: virtual reality) at a theme park. Once the Prequels came along, Disney knew it had to update the ride and boy, oh boy, did they update it! Right away, you're greeted with C-3PO (voiced by Anthony Daniels himself), who has unintentionally been trapped in the cockpit while he was doing maintenance to the StarSpeeder. You're instructed to fasten your seatbelts and then get ready for a galactic event. The storyline you experience takes place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, with the main objective being to get the Rebel spy to safety (the cherry on top is that the Rebel spy is usually someone chosen from the audience). In my opinion, the greatest part of this ride is that there are 54 different journeys that you can go on that are randomly generated. Which means you can go on the ride again...and again...and again... I don't want to give away too many details, because then it will spoil the surprise of all the different sequences you could possibly be a part of, but if you are dying to know €“ you can search the internet. Cost: Disneyland Tomorrowland Park starting at $92, Disney World ticket to just Hollywood Studios Park starting at $90.
