10 Planned Movie Sequels That Also Need To Be Terminated

Just like the Terminator: Genisys sequel, these follow-ups should be aborted.

It's not exactly the most surprising news in the world, but guess what? Terminator: Genisys 2 has been wiped from Paramount's list of upcoming movies, which means that - for all intents and purposes - it has been cancelled. That's right, world: no more Terminator movies. At least not for a long time. Are those relentless celebratory noises in the air? Indeed. Sadly for Terminator: Genisys, the long-awaited (or not, it turns out) sort-of sequel to Terminator Salvation proved to be a rather underwhelming force at the box office. Though it managed to pull in $444 million across the globe, it didn't make anywhere near the amount of dosh that the studio envisioned. Not to mention all the terrible critic reviews. Ouch. This is joyful news, however, because - for once - Hollywood has put a stop to an unnecessary sequel before it had a chance to enter production (which rarely happens). Unfortunately, there are plenty of other sequels currently in the pipeline - and scheduled for release in the coming years - that also deserve to be brushed under the carpet. Hey, if Paramount can set fire to one unnecessary follow-up, what's stopping the rest of the studios from also terminating the following 10 motion pictures?
