10 Reasons Frozen Is Definitely NOT Disney's Best Animated Movie This Decade

Disney€™s Frozen shattered all expectations to become THE most successful Disney animated movie of all time, easily crossing the $1,000,000,000 (that's a cool billion) mark worldwide. It€™s also become a full blown cultural phenomena, as popular with critics as it is fans, and took home the Academy Awards for Best Animated Picture and Best Original Song. There's now even a Broadway adaptation in the works and the trailer for follow-up short film Frozen Fever has just landed, whipping up another snowy frenzy once more. That won't be the end of the franchise by any means, as the world has fallen hard for Ana and Elsa, and that spells a franchise for Disney. While there is no denying that Frozen is an enjoyable movie, it€™s frustrating to see so much praise hurled upon what amounts to no more than a mediocre cartoon, when Disney released a far superior animated classic just a few years earlier. 2010€™s Tangled is a better movie in nearly every way to Frozen, but didn't get nearly as much recognition; perhaps the world just wasn't ready for a classic Disney princess tale in 2010, but now that it is its time to set the record straight - Frozen is simply not as good as Tangled.
