9. To Give Superman His Mojo Back
Superman's in a weird place right now thanks to Justice League. A cheesy reimagining of Christopher Reeve's Supes led to an out-of-place, alien-feeling Clark that just didn't work. This new direction for Supes was supposed to put him back in fans' favor, yet only radio silence followed.
Clearly Joss Whedon and company wanted to just bring back happy-go-lucky Supes but did so without care and subtlety. Worst of all, it betrayed what came before with MoS and BvS, ruining the once-relatable Clark to an unrecognizable god without weakness or flaw.
This is what everyone wanted right?
Obviously not, as films like Superman Returns (that tried the same thing) failed, as did this attempt. However, imagine how much more excitement there'd be with general audiences if Snyder's (undoubtedly) more epic return of the Last Kryptonian would've remained.
At the moment, the same small vocal minority are still clamoring for a Man of Steel sequel and there's been no momentum since 2013. Allow Cavill's Superman to complete the three-movie arc that Snyder had intended, and then it is possible fans will get THEIR version of Superman without ignoring the Clark MoS fans had fallen in love with.
