10 Ridiculously Overused Movie Locations

2. Sixth Street Viaduct

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0JMVal0cdY One of my all-time favourite movie locations, the Sixth Street Viaduct might not be the most iconic or glamorous of movie locations, but it's been host to plenty of awesome cinematic moments. Surely the best has to be the thrilling chase through the viaduct between John Connor and the T-1000 in Terminator 2; it's such a distinctive locale that I also spotted it in 2011's Drive, and it has made an appearance in a Season 3 episode of 24, too. To my amazement, it turns out that I was not alone in my appreciation for the locale; it's been used in a ridiculous number of Hollywood productions, including To Live and Die In L.A., Grease, In Time, SWAT, The Mask, Gone in Sixty Seconds, Be Cool and Freaky Friday. It seems that the location I enjoyed and wanted to see used more has actually been utilised quite a lot, just in some movies that are...less than great.
