10 Most Satisfying Movie Moments Of 2013

10. The Beauty Pageant - Jackass: Bad Grandpa

Jackass: Bad Grandpa was one of 2013's unexpected box office hits, earning almost 10x its budget at the box office and even making the Academy Award shortlist for Best Makeup & Hairstyling. It's a shame that they gave away the best scene in the trailers, but it's an undeniably brilliant hook with which to draw the crowds in (and that it certainly did). In order to raise some cash, Irving (Johnny Knoxville) and grandson Billy decide to enter a child beauty pageant, disguising Billy as a young girl, and doing a surprisingly convincing job. Billy manages to win over the judges with a cute dance, before ripping off "her" clothes and revealing some lingerie underneath, as the song changes to Warrant's classic Cherry Pie, and he dances like a stripper. A delighted Irving meanwhile throws dollar bills at him, and the audience, many of them real people, are nothing short of gobsmacked. It's a hilarious condemnation of middle-America's obsession with child beauty pageants and also things like Toddlers & Tiaras, and one of the all time best Jackass stunts.
