9. The Predator (Predator 2)
Villain from the previous movie: The Predator (Predator). Having seen a previous Yautja warrior defeat an entire team of elite commandos in the first
Predator movie, only to be outwitted by Arnold Schwarzenegger's Alan "Dutch" Schaefer (after having man-handled him like a child's toy), the urban Predator in the sequel is defeated by... well... Danny Glover. Don't get me wrong, the second Predator kills some heavily armed Colombian and Jamaican drug cartels, but the way that the first one tore through the far more organised and highly trained elite commandos in the inaugural movie was far, far more impressive. Of course, the Predator in the first movie may have the psychological edge as well, given that it was a mystery to both audiences and its victims as to what it actually was, making it seem more threatening, while everyone watching knew what Glover's Lieutenant Michael Harrigan was dealing with before the movie started while the characters in the movie itself soon came to be informed following the events in the previous film. But it's pretty undeniable that the first one was more badass, killing tougher opponents, causing hardened grown men to cry like babies and ultimately committing suicide with a violent explosive device that levelled a large area of jungle.
