9. He's Alive! - Crank: High Voltage
Crank: High Voltage is the original Crank ramped up to 1000, and might be one of the more underrated video game films that isn't actually based on a video game at all. It was an unapologetic, funny, surreal experiment of a film that turned out to be far more clever than people gave it credit for.
This follow-up to the original is more of the same, but in more inventive and crazy ways as Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) is out to kill those who wronged him, but ends the film burning himself to a crisp.
Throughout the credits, the failed attempts at saving him are spliced in as all seems to be lost when Statham's eyes open on the final shot. Now to end on this and never have a follow up is an absolute crime because even if he is on 1% health, a Crank 3D would surely pull in the box office numbers.
Fingers crossed for this one, well that's if he has any fingers after all that punishment.
