There's little worse as a filmmaker than when you're trying to craft a serious piece of entertainment, you start screening it to audiences and...they burst into laughter.
Tone is a very important part of the filmmaking process; it lets us know whether a film is meant to be serious, funny, or a mixture of the two, and while most of these films by their premise alone aren't meant to be regarded with the seriousness of, say, Schindler's List, these moments were most certainly not supposed to invoke as much uproarious chuckling as they did.
Granted, for the majority of the entries, the film is more famous as a result of the cataclysmically tone-deaf direction, writing, editing and acting, but it can hardly be something the filmmakers are that proud of.

10. "I Don't Like Sand" - Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones
Anyone who stood up for Hayden Christensen over the course of his tenure in the Star Wars franchise can be promptly shut up by this horrendous scene, in which his Anakin Skywalker laments the irksome qualities of sand to his love, Padme, remarking, "I don't like sand.
It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere." Everything about this scene is wrong; Christensen's delivery is painful (especially his emphasis on the word "everywhere"), though the prevailing problem is that George Lucas wrote it in the first place.
It's an incredibly awkward line that's clearly supposed to be about forging the romance between Anakin and Padme, though only resulted in chortles in cinemas the world over upon release. Oh, and don't get me started on that overly twee, quaint score as well...
